The project is being developed by Marick Real Estate, in collaboration with Oxford City Council, Staycity and Makespace Oxford as well as through consultation with relevant stakeholders and the community; which is ongoing.
Staycity will be the ‘head tenant’ and will manage the hotel. Makespace Oxford will be the ‘sub tenant’ of the community space.
Oxford City Council will remain as the freeholder and landlord of the site, the regeneration will generate rental revenue and income for the Council.
The scheme was submitted for planning in June 2024.
